Mr. Cobern joined TriCentury Title, LLC as president in October of 2007. He has over 20 years of financial services industry experience, including over 15 in financial institutions and mortgage. He was previously with Aegis Mortgage Corporation as Executive Vice President in August of 2004 he filled the dual roles of Corporate EVP Strategic Initiatives and President of the two entities required to create Aegis’ captive vendor management company. Previous to that, he was Director of Operations for McGlinchey, Stafford and Youngblood & Bendalin, MSYB Mortgage Banking Group, & MSYB Mortgage Technology Solutions in Dallas, TX. Prior to that Mr. Cobern was an Executive Consultant for Financial Services entities out of Dallas, TX. He spent five years as a Senior Executive with FirstPlus Financial Group Inc. in Dallas, TX where he held several Divisional President and Corporate Executive positions. Mr. Cobern spent the prior six years as within the management consulting group of both Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouse as a Senior Manager working with both domestic and international clients out of the Dallas, TX, New York, NY and London, UK offices. Prior experience is with various financial services firms.
